Wagner Free Institute of Sciences

This grant will be used to enhance the teaching garden by increasing the number and types of native plants, adding soil and soil amendments, an irrigation system and educational materials. A professional landscape designer provided detailed plans and listed plants. Wagner, located in North Philadelphia, works with 5 local elementary schools serving over 10,000 students annually.
