Germantown Residents for Economic Alternatives Together (GREAT)

This grant is for food production and community enrichment in two community gardens in Germantown: People’s Lot and Awbury Cooperative Farm. In addition, a one-day garden expo event at Wyck will educate residents. Materials purchased with the grant will be soil, compost, seedlings, and plants. The goal of the grant is to provide plants and soil so that the community can grow healthy food to share and to build their gardening and cooking skills.
